Examples of driving habits that decrease fuel economy include poor vehicle maintenance and terrible driving habits. The most basic thing you can do to improve your fuel economy is to maintain the vehicle.

The EPA Fuel Economy Estimates for the Mazda 3i Grand Touring are 28 MPG for city driving and 40 MPG for highway driving. I actually was getting a little bit higher on the highway but there was zero traffic on my way home and I had it on cruise control the whole way. I filled up at $3.56 I found this to be pretty accurate.
