Another Christmas has passed by and while the memory of the Christmas shopping and spending is still lingering in my head, I've come up with a plan for all of us to start saving for 2013. According to a recent survey, Americans were planning to spend on average $854 on Christmas gifts in 2012. a stressful January and beyond.

On the 25th of every month from January to November in 2013, I'm holding a virtual meeting for the Christmas Savings Club. I also almost have enough points to cash out for another $25 Disney gift card from QuickRewards and should be getting my “Big Fat Check” from Ebates later this month! I haven’t cashed my points out yet but I am up to over 23,200 points, which is enough for several free gift cards woohoo! I added $294.52

This is the first year I started a Disney/vacation savings account of $25 a week. Here we go… Disney Trip 2012 – Total Savings Goal = $2555.35. One was for $50 from Speedway Rewards , and three were $50 Shell gift cards MyPoints. It saves us a ton of money both while we travel and at Disney.
