My husband and I had 3 large loans to pay off at the beginning of 2015, so we broke it down and planned to pay off 2 in 2015, leaving the last and largest loan to be paid off in 2016.

Our 2018 Financial Goals

We hit our Annual Household Portion (kind of like a deductible) of $10,000 with Medi-Share in 2017 when our daughter had an unexpected medical condition arise that required multiple tests, 3 surgeries, and medication. I won’t rehash our health insurance story here, because I have written extensively about it and INCLUDED OUR NUMBERS.

Our Big Financial Goal for 2016

Between 2013 – 2015, we whittled that down and as of today we have just two loans left. We have a retirement to plan , our daughters’ college to save for, and many places to visit. Choose Thrift First. And if forgetting about it isn’t an option, only then will I step foot into a store to purchase it.
