So far, the ministry has been working seemlessly. After a lot of thought at the end of 2016, we decided to take a leap of faith (pun intended) and try Medi-Share, a health sharing ministry that is promoted as a biblical and affordable solution to traditional health insurance. However, on November 1, 2016, we logged on to healthcare.gov to renew for 2017 and found premiums had doubled and the options were limited. In the September 2017 update , I went into more detail about how Medi-Share worked for us during this time. Medi-Share was working exactly how we were told it would. It worked really well!
