Today is the final meeting of the 2019 Christmas Savings Club! . On the 25th of every month from January to November in 2019, I held a virtual meeting on the blog to give updates on our progress, motivate one another, and help all of us save for a cash Christmas. My monthly savings goal was $100.

In 2018, we decided to focus on just 2 main financial goals and before I share my 2019 goals I thought I would give you a recap on 2018. Save $10k in a savings account, specifically earmarked for medical expenses. Part of me didn’t even want to make a financial goal for 2019. 1 – DONE!!

This should cover my tentative 2019 Christmas budget that I based on what we spent in 2018. I had amassed $70 and thought it was a perfect addition to our Christmas account.

Our 2019 Financial Goal. Happy New Year’s 2019: In January 2019, we were down to one final non-mortgage loan, so we created just one financial goal for the year—-to pay off that last non-mortgage debt by December. Our Debt Freedom Plan (October 2019 Update): Exact numbers have been omitted at this time.

Last year, to make a little extra cash, I started boarding dogs through Rover, and I am about to start a very very part time job using my RN license for a home care company. I think I started reading FG regularly in 2018 or 2019. It’s not cheap but it’s a great tradition and it makes it such a special time of year.
