Landscape with plants that have a low water requirement. We do have two trees, but they are well established and thus far have done fine without regular watering. Collect air conditioning condensation. On the side of our house, we have a spout that slowly drips out water condensation from the air conditioner.

This saves our energy consumption as well as over $70,000 in our lifetime. They can be thrown in the wash and reused again for next time. They even dust well.
