Here is what I did (and am currently doing while planning a dream trip to Hawaii for all of us). You need a time-frame to figure out an estimated cost due to seasonally different rates on attractions, lodging and transportation costs. More and more hotels are providing connecting rooms and suites that accommodate multiple family units.
