On average a typical family will spend about $50 a month to go out to a concert, the movies, an amusement park and etc. Based on House Flipping Helper.com, I saved about $720 by doing the demolition, drywall, paint and flooring myself. We didn’t go out much. Thankfully, that never happened (so far).
