Our business was doing well and it seemed like the right time for us to buy. When my own parents were the age that I am now, I was graduating from college.

During this monsoon of a rainstorm, I was working “platform”, which meant I stood on the train platform to communicate with the conductor and engineer as they approached the station, interact with guests, and made sure no one crossed the safety lines.
