I manage the finances for our business and our family and by August 2013, I felt the weight of the situation. On top of our normal day to day expenses, the new property taxes were due, we had more ownership expenses than we realized, and we had a family to feed. Our business is again thriving.

August 2013 was a month that I’d like to wipe from my memory. Our small business was going well, so we said so long to renting office space and purchased a commercial property in the summer of 2012. It was such a long process and at times, we wanted to give up. I still use my spreadsheet to this day! Storm #2: 2013.
