My Aunt, God rest her soul, saved Christmas paper and those silly little paper bows from year to year. Do you have old calendars with beautiful pictures? I’ve also found beautiful silk floral Christmas poinsettias, greenery and other arrangements for a buck or two for multiple stems. Use those as well. Go Green'

You can pick up beautiful decorations, wreaths, linens, trees and more at these sales. In my growing up family, we didn’t get that many presents on Christmas day. Instead of the kids running in and ripping into presents one right after another, only one person at a time opened one gift. These make nice gifts too.

My dad taught my mom how to drive manual, my uncle taught my aunt, my fiancé even taught his ex how to drive manual. Concerts, I learned I don’t really enjoy, but I do love musicals and plays, so I’ve started asking for tickets as birthday or Christmas presents. I really assumed I would get it.
