When I was a kid, I shook my head at my Aunt. However, she enjoyed her hobby immensely and kept right on collecting things of interest to her. My Aunt used to keep her house cooler than was comfortable for her – to protect the antique marble top Victorian furniture she had. Others may be appraisers or TV show stars as well!

Save those annual reports and dusty old stock certificates , they may be worth money! My aunt and god-mother collected everything from spoons to stamps and dolls. Because of the acquirers in our family, I have a collection of odd, old stuff that may or may not hold monetary value but sometimes has emotional value to family members.
