When a woman is pregnant for her first child, she’ll likely have a baby shower (or several). I had three baby showers when I was pregnant for my son–one from each side of the family and one from my co-workers. I got brand new clothes , a stroller, a playpen, toys, blankets, the list goes on and on.

Some get stuff from stores, the less financially favored head for thrift stores, garage sales, Mom’s house or the trash pickup routes. You donate to suitable charities.

Early on, my daughter would be in a stroller, but as soon as she learned how to walk, she wanted nothing to do with that stroller. Hosting garage sales & reselling items. Biking with my kids Most folks find this absolutely bananas. I transported my kids everywhere either by walking, biking, or taking the bus.
