If you are a parent, some day you will most likely become a grandparent. Being a grandparent is tons more fun than parenting. We spoiled our children and we apparently are even more intent on doing so with our grandchildren! I only remember staying with them once without parents around. They tolerated our presence.

For the drive, his parents allowed him to use his Kindle to read or play games. They have installed parental controls which restrict the times of day he can use the device as well as the time he can spend playing games vs reading books on it. Use parental controls. Are we adults just as addicted? No doubt, on both counts.

We took my Mom with us to Florida in the 1980’s.
