I also love to visit family (all our family is between 2 and 4 hours away) and friends, bake, and play board games. I would like to pursue higher education in some way, maybe a History PhD, or a library science degree? I was ASTONISHED, I thought everyone had access to a library. I’ve started leaning more into baking!

My hobbies range from reading to painting, pen-and-ink drawing, cooking/baking, and writing. Back when I was engaged and living on my own for the first time (I lived with my parents while in grad school to save on rent), I went to the library a lot and found a copy of the Tightwad Gazette. How did you get interested in saving money?

In my free time I enjoy canning and preserving food (well, I enjoy the results of it, ha!), canned peaches = summer in a jar 2.
