Save $10k in a savings account, specifically earmarked for medical expenses. I have yet to write a Medi-Share recap for 2018, but our goal was to replenish the healthcare savings account that we depleted in 2017. Unfortunately, we had a medical event in 2017 and we were on the hook for the first 10k of bills.

Our daughter is 24 and was adopted from Eastern Europe when she was one week short of a year old. I can’t even imagine how many repair bills from plumbers, electricians, appliance techs, and auto mechanics he has saved us over the years. Now I wish those dollars had gone into our savings accounts. Made me proud!
