My son has already learned that he can get more bang for his book dollar if he buys used. They can be found in a number of places, from online book swaps to eBay to Amazon.

Growing up in the fifties made me everlastingly grateful for a number of things, such as hot running water, central air conditioning, automatic dishwashers, TV remote control, the internet, personal computers (typewriters really sucked – no backspacing!), There were no personal computers. There were no garage door openers.
