I’m a 53-year-old mother of 2 (grown) and grandmother of 4. My daughter lives in California and we talk regularly. I had two older siblings, but my sister passed away in a car accident in 2000 and my brother passed away from MS in 2020 so now I’m an only child. Here’s Ginger! Wow, time flies.

I’m pretty sure I always sang it as Grandmother’s house, which is weird since we actually went to my Grandfather’s house for holidays. The day starts/started with my mother or me or now my daughter getting up and stuffing the bird and getting it into the oven. Then my daughter required mashed potatoes.
