My husband and I discussed some ideas over our holiday break and we decided on 2 solid must-achieve financial goals for the year. 2 – Save $10k in a savings account, specifically earmarked for medical expenses. Being self-employed, we have a higher starter fund on hand and when we pay off our non-mortgage debt, we will save to at least 6 months expenses and maybe even more.
