Instead of buying items that you may only need for one time, you should consider borrowing items from a friend, family member, or a neighbor. Buy in bulk. With the rise of Costco, Sam’s Club, and BJ’s Wholesale, it has gotten easier than ever to buy items in bulk. It’s also a whole lot cheaper. Buy used items.

Buying meat in bulk is one way to save money and I have a new alternative to shopping at Costco or buying the Extreme Value Packs at your grocery store. I know 40lbs may seem like a lot of chicken but remember, you can go halvesies with a neighbor or family member. Others may have a different experience.

Ingredients : 1 lb raw pinto beans (we buy ours in bulk at costco-we make a lot of this stuff!). Make sure the beans are covered with water the entire time, so you may need to add water through the cooking. Believe me, you won’t want the canned stuff after you try this. 4 cloves of garlic (whole). 1 large white onion.

This may be tea, coffee, soda, beer, wine, and the list goes on. If you shop at one of the warehouse stores, like Sam’s Club or Costco, buy your soda there because you can get deals when you buy in bulk. Water is good for you, but let’s face it, water can get boring. As a result, nearly all of us drink something else as well.
