What We Ate this Week: Sunday: Using leftover turkey & gravy, I made Turkey & Waffles , steamed vegetable. I browned both packs at once and added 3 cans of black beans, water, and my homemade taco seasoning. Tuesday: Using leftover turkey, I made Turkey Noodle Soup and served with a salad and homemade sugar-free applesauce.

Wednesday: Slow Cooker Chicken Fajitas with my homemade fajita seasoning. Friday: Homemade Ham & Bean Soup , homemade sugar-free applesauce This soup takes some time from start to finish, but I work from home on Fridays, so I had the time. I use Ebates on almost every purchase I buy online.

What We Ate this Week: Monday : Ham & Bean Soup , homemade sugar-free applesauce. How We Saved this Week: We started a family tradition years ago of going to a Christmas tree farm to buy a fresh tree. As much as I love the smell and the look of a fresh tree, this will save us around $70. Ebates is FREE and super easy to use.

Family Balance Sheet

They were yummy and a great way to use up leftover chicken. Thursday: Parmesan chicken tenders , mashed potatoes, steamed broccoli, homemade sugar-free applesauce. Friday: Grilled sausages, spinach salad, homemade applesauce. However, we use a ventless gas fireplace in a corner of the living room as our main source of heat.
