I also pulled out all of our colder-weather clothing and packed away our summer stuff. I found one daughter’s dress at David’s Bridal and saved $10 for becoming a member, which made my daughter’s dress $50. I saved $5 on my other daughter’s dress just by searching online for a coupon. Total $132.

In the month of October, my challenge will be to find $1000. Mondays thru Saturdays in October, I will have ideas to help you find $1000 too. I shop at them regularly, but I love to shop for clothing for myself and my girls at a local thrift store, especially ON WEDNESDAYS. Seriously, they are the most awesome jeans ever.

I stopped donating back in October 2021 because I was having a hard time fitting it into my schedule, but in June, they lured me back with a very nice Welcome Back promotion for my first 8 visits, which I finished up in July. Currently, I use a Upromise credit card where the cashback gets transferred to my daughters’ 529 accounts.

Tinker Bell, everyone’s favorite Disney Fairies character is back this October, in Disney Fairies newest movie, Secret of the Wings! The dolls are really cute and the dress up clothes are amazing!
