On Sundays Jamie works and so Noah and I spend the day together and then I take him to my in laws where his mom picks him up. Every year as a kid I went to summer camp & my mom would always take the time to go through all of the stuff I packed to try to find some place to write my name on my belongings. If only mom had had some Lovable Labels , it would have made things much easier! So, I got them for my niece, and they really are very cute.

It never occurred to me to ask Mom or Mom-in-law to come watch my kids. I’ve seen the nieces and my own kids ask for and get babysitting services time after time from a busy working boomer. Expectations of our children. In my experience, my kids expect more of me for their kids than I expected of my parents for mine.
