Limiting waste is what really drives most of the habits I have that would qualify as “frugal” – reducing/eliminating food waste, returning unneeded items, pursuing refunds, checking on warranties, repairing things, etc. For me, being in the kitchen and making food for people is an act of love.

For 20 or so years I’ve been homeschooling my kids, and am now down to about 1 1/2 (one full-time homeschooler, and one doing College Credit Plus with some support). We also want to get our kids through college without them having loans to pay back, and we are 1 out of 4 on that so far! I make bone broth now!
