Chances are, if you have kids, you will become one some day. Your kid is having a kid! Here are four things I learned after having grandchildren. My Aunt and Uncle used to take each of their grandchildren on a trip when they reached the ripe old age of 8. While true, that may not be the best course of action.

When I was a young adult, I hadn’t a clue how to go about deciding what I wanted to do ‘when I grow up’ I picked a college major solely on what I enjoyed studying – without any thought or investigation as to how it might (or might not) lead to a job some day. It didn’t. Pick based on hours worked/lifestyle.
