I’m 47, married, and living amongst the cornfields in a college town in the Midwest U.S. We share our home with a 70lb rescued mutt. We ending up buying our current home in 2015, when local prices and interest rates were significantly lower.

Sunrise with my daughter at Lake Michigan Our son is now 15, and about 25 hours into his private pilot’s license, which he’s funding by earning money working for my father-in-law.
