Candy alone can be a big bite if you get lots of trick or treaters and give out chocolate. We do put up decorations (ones I buy at garage sales or thrift stores and reuse each year). Tip # 2 Recycle/reuse costumes. Compost it by cutting it up and putting it on the pile. What are the typical essentials?

Compost kitchen waste to feed your garden. Turn old towels into bags that can be taken to the grocery store. Before you get rid of items that are still in usable condition, consider trying to sell them, or give them to a thrift store. You can do the same. Look for ways to re-use what you already have.
