And when I think back to when I worked in the corporate world, I remember how much money I spent going out until I switched to bringing my own lunch from home! Everything in that lunch bag can be washed and reused or at least an be dealt with in an environmentally-friendly manner. It’s quite simple, really.

Home decor, costumes for the kiddies (and adults!), Once the kids left home, we ended up with zero trick or treaters at our house on a state highway. We do put up decorations (ones I buy at garage sales or thrift stores and reuse each year). Tip # 2 Recycle/reuse costumes. What do you do to recycle/reuse on Halloween?

We share our home with a 70lb rescued mutt. Besides dealing with my sudden unemployment when my oldest child was a toddler, I was hoping to figure out a way to extend my time at home with him. We ending up buying our current home in 2015, when local prices and interest rates were significantly lower. Enjoying some outdoor time.
