As I was removed everything from the desk, I decided right then if it was trash and needed to be shredded, needed to be filed or put elsewhere, or donated. They are really not that expensive considering that they will help prevent identity theft. I had let my desk get out of control. once again. I also cleaned out the drawers.

Any bills for big purchases like jewelry, appliances, computers, etc, should be kept permanently for insurance and warranty purposes. If the information matches, you can shred your pay stubs. If the information doesn't match, head to your human resource department for correction. This will help you avoid possible identity theft.
