This philosophy works for shoes, furniture, and many other items. I know people who are perfectly happy flying a red-eye, and glad to save the money. No matter how cheap it is, if it isn’t a planned purchase, you are still spending money — not saving it. We look for true quality. I’m just not one of them.

We spend a lot on shoes and other things in life, yet we avoid spending on denim – even though that’s what most of us wear every day. There are American denim mills and manufacturers out there, and that can cut down on the amount of transportation and carbon footprint your jeans leave behind. Go Green'
