One of the things I used to tell my mom was that, of course I could do my homework while watching TV. While I sometimes work on the laptop while sitting on the couch, I find I’m more effective in my home office area. and completing all manner of tasks while doing something else at the same time.

I definitely know Noah well but I also know that kids just want their moms when they’re sick! I make him a fun tent on the couch to hang out in, give him the remote and rent some movies from the RedBox or Amazon that I think he will like. Being his future stepmom and not his mother is tough at times like these!
