So great for hauling furniture. And since Sonia’s maximalist self fills her room with all sorts of colorful things, the simple white furniture is perfect for her; a blank slate. ? I mentioned that our pub style table and chairs didn’t work well in our dining room, but the bar stool chairs were the perfect height, so they worked great for the kitchen island, and we were able to sell the table on Craigslist. You don’t have to spend a lot of money on furniture if your new space is looking a little empty.

I checked some local furniture stores to check the prices of new dressers. So for the first time I checked out Craigslist. Too many stories of Craigslist gone wrong. But when I found a pretty good solution on Craigslist, I sent my husband to pick it up the dresser. At $500-700–we’ll pass.

For curiosity sake, I stopped by a local furniture store and saw some really cute new dressers that cost $500-$700. That’s motivation to take some time to scour Craigslist and some local second hand furniture stores this week.

After shopping locally at some furniture stores, I resorted to Craigslist and spent hundreds less on a new-to-her dresser. At the beginning of the month, we were in the market for a bedroom dresser because my youngest daughter’s dresser fell apart over the holidays. Daughter and mommy were both thrilled.
