My cute kids when they were little I used to be a Spanish teacher until I stopped working to stay home with my kids. Our two goats I’m planning to milk next year We also have a big garden, fruit trees, a medicinal herb garden and grow some cut flowers. My husband is a middle school language arts teacher.

If you are a… neat freak …neat person who loves to clean, offer home cleaning services. Gift them with a certain number of weeks of home cleaning. This idea came to me when my retired neighbor called me and asked if I could come over and help her with a Craigslist posting. Garden Harvest. Are you a gardener?

When people get away over the summer, many would gladly pay for someone to watch over their home. You don’t even have to stay at the home, you could just check in daily to collect the mail, water the plants and garden, feed the goldfish, open/close blinds, etc. Offer your services for senior or family portraits.

If you get the big things like solar panels and water tanks, they do cost initially, but if you are staying in your home for a long period they are worth it. The largest bin is what most seem to opt for, yet if you are more careful with what you bring into your home so you don’t need to throw away excess you could get a smaller bin.

You can also find home swapping opportunities on websites like Gumtree , Craigslist , Home Exchange , or Loquo. You need to be comfortable with total strangers living in your home for this to work for you though. House Sitting When people go on vacation, they may not want to leave their home unattended.
