I noticed that the reporter was holding a copy of the ad in her hands and the first thing that came to my mind was, “Thank goodness I showered and put a little make-up on this morning”, LOL!! I could have tried to sell the unbroken pieces online, on eBay or Craigslist, but this was definitely instant gratification.

We saved any that we could from my husbands checks, we sold things from around the house on craigslist and ultimately we started taking everything we earned from our photography business which was a normal part of income for us and used it all on debt. A HUGE chunk of that thanks to my husband. The rule was, if I could get $50 bucks or more for it, it was going on Craigslist. Thank goodness its illegal to sell cute little children, because I would have gotten a pretty penny for my son. It may not be easy, but a lifetime of financial peace is worth it.
