I love using my Crock Pot all year long. In the hot months, it helps to reduce heat in the kitchen, and in the cold months it can be made to make warm soups or stews. This Crock Pot Applesauce is a new favorite of mine because my kids love applesauce and it is so simple to make. Cook on Low for 7-9 hours.

This sauce tasty, super easy, and the ingredients are most likely in your kitchen. Pulled Pork BBQ in the Crock Pot. Place the pork shoulder in the crock pot. Cook on low for 7 - 8 hours. Remove pork from crock pot and shred with 2 forks, add back to the crock pot, and mix with the sauce.

In this post, I offer two ways to cook dried beans: crock pot and stove top. I prefer the slow cooker method, because I don’t have to be home when the beans are cooking. Pour beans into a large pot and add 6 – 8 cups of hot water and boil for 2 minutes on your stove top. Do NOT turn on the crock pot.
