There is definitely a training period as Ruby needs to get used to the feel of the new collar, but she stopped pulling almost immediately. We found the best price for the Gentle Leader Headcollar at Amazon (that is my affiliate link) at around $8 less than the big box pet store. The girls and I hit my favorite thrift store this week.
