Go Green This Halloween

We do put up decorations (ones I buy at garage sales or thrift stores and reuse each year). My daughter-in-law came up with this idea, buying bulk pumpkins and bulk flowers. Once the kids left home, we ended up with zero trick or treaters at our house on a state highway. Tip # 2 Recycle/reuse costumes.

Another benefit is that I am cutting the governments out of the loop – there no sales taxes on used stuff (except big things of course, like boats or cars).
