As open enrollment nears for many health insurance plans, I thought this would be a great time to give you an update on Medi-Share, the health sharing ministry that we are using in place of traditional health insurance. Health insurance has been a long winding road for us over the last few years.

We even bought an online package years ago, but have since decided that we will have a lawyer draw up our will, medical directive, and power of attorney documents to make sure everything is in place legally. 2 – Save $10k in a savings account, specifically earmarked for medical expenses.
