Years later, I asked my Mom why she hadn’t suggested another path for me, since there were no jobs. I was terribly shy as a child and young adult, coming into my own only after I became a Mom.

So when our oldest daughter was born 7 years ago, we were over-joyed.and maybe a bit overwhelmed. Right after our daughter was born, I read an article in the newspaper that tugged at my heart and my postpartum hormones.
