In January, I only ventured into Target because our daughters wanted to go and spend some of their Christmas gift money. At the beginning of the month, we were in the market for a bedroom dresser because my youngest daughter’s dresser fell apart over the holidays. Daughter and mommy were both thrilled.

March Update: I did a little shopping in March and it was mostly for our oldest daughter. But I also found success at a thrift store. At that time, I had not reviewed my own spring clothing and I have plenty of time to go back to Target if I can’t find something suitable (and cute) at the thrift store.

I made one trip to my favorite thrift store during their dollar days sale. I found a pair of blue jeans for myself for $3 and some clothes for my daughters for $1 a piece. My mother recently borrowed some luggage from us for a plane trip. Can I find what I need at a second hand or thrift store?
