Sunrise with my daughter at Lake Michigan Our son is now 15, and about 25 hours into his private pilot’s license, which he’s funding by earning money working for my father-in-law.

My six year old daughter and I had the pleasure of attending a free media preview of Disney’s Frozen , last night, and we both loved it. Frozen centers on two sisters, Anna (Kristen Bell) and Elsa. The girls’ parents also die, which is not uncommon for a Disney movie. I found some of the underlying themes a bit dark.

I was up until 2:30am on Christmas Eve and my daughter and son-in-law were up until 3:30. My grandson had to inspect everyone of his sister’s toys before she was allowed to play with them. New shoes for me and my daughter and this for my son-in-law: He’s a big cheese fan, so only a vat of cheese will do!
