I was going to drive from Georgia to Virginia, nearly 11 hour ride with my two kids. I shopped around and found, at the time firestone had the best sales on tires. Nearly $2K :'(.

My WWII era uncle and his wife made trips annually with one of their 4 grandchildren (a different one each year). Last year, my spouse and I took our 9 year old grandson on a road trip (from the US Midwest) to Colonial Williamsburg and toured Virginia for 10 days.
