You didn’t start eating until everyone was served and seated. Christmas was a one week event – between Dec 25 and Jan. There wasn’t a restaurant on every corner and people didn’t eat out much. Most food at the grocery store came from the USA. 1; not a month long marathon. Go Frugal'
