And what I found was that completely cutting out those things that I considered “mediocre”, the things that weren’t totally, mindblowingly satisfying and worth every calorie, gave me a lot more freedom to indulge in the things I REALLY love- chocolate, wine, pasta, etc. So change it up and start with the big picture.

We make it fun by getting together, having some wine, and making it a craft night. The total for all of the supplies (including some wine) was $150. I’d recommend making a couple of dummy invitations prior to starting on the rest, and definitely look up how to do things online; tutorials are your friend!

I stayed on track until Friday when we went out to dinner for my sister in laws birthday and while I didn’t go overboard I did have a drink, some appetizer, a steak, a couple bites of dessert etc. Then Jamie and I went to the South Beach Wine and Food Festival and well, you know how that goes.
