I took an unexpected blog break last week because of the death of my grandfather. We took breaks for lunch and went back outside until dinner. Thanks for reading. He was a wonderful man whose passions were his faith, his family, and his farm. Our summers were spent outside. I would never let my kids do that today--EWWW!)

to Grandfather’s house we go; . I’m pretty sure I always sang it as Grandmother’s house, which is weird since we actually went to my Grandfather’s house for holidays. First it was just stuffing and dinner rolls. We try to make the dinner last a fair amount of time, since it takes so long to prepare.
