Garage sale and thrift store furniture bargains abound. My daybed mattresses were previously used by a young girl, in her growing up bedroom, then stored by the parents for years. So, if you have the time and the patience, you can safely and economically reuse furniture of almost any type. The sun bakes out.

We also grow a large garden & lots of flowers, fruit trees & a 100-year-old grapevine. Now-I’m a single parent who works part-time, cares for my elder mother, homeschools & runs a farm. There’s always been garage sales/flea markets, library, state parks, fishing. This means funds are tight.
