Start understanding vocabulary and concepts of economics – such as ‘resource’, ‘earn’, ‘income’, price, ‘currency’ and etc. Check the register receipt with them to show them how it lists out the items, the price and the taxes (a great opening to introduce the concept of why we have taxes).
