High gas prices got you down? However, buying a new car isn’t in the cards for me right now, so I have to make due with the one I have. Why carry around all that extra weight, which not only costs you more in fuel but also more wear on your engine. Shut the car off. Buy fuel-efficient tires.

Buy A Scooter If you want to feel the breeze in your face but are afraid of climbing up on that Harley, check out small gas or electric-powered scooters. They are incredibly fuel-efficient, cheap to buy and insure, and emit way less pollution than automobiles do. High gas prices got you down?

The oil and gas industry still has well over 64 million acres of land that has been granted to them to explore on – which they have not even started using. Don’t believe anyone when they say drilling will bring down gas prices right away; it won’t. More drilling does not equal lower prices at the pump.
