Avoid holidays and peak travel times when prices can be inflated. For example, we just booked an Asheville trip, and the rate for Friday and Saturday was nearly double the rate Sunday through Thursday, so we adjusted our plans to pay the lower rate. As flights are booked, and seats become more in demand, the prices will increase.
