For 20 or so years I’ve been homeschooling my kids, and am now down to about 1 1/2 (one full-time homeschooler, and one doing College Credit Plus with some support). Eventually, when I was married and working at a library I ordered my own copy of the Complete Tightwad Gazette–and I still have it! Not at all.

My own kids were born in different time zones, too – one in MN, one in OH. I’m a long-distance cyclist, a triathlete, a wife, a mother of two, a sister, a daughter, a friend, DIY-er, and a community member! And barring one job I had as a young mother, I never have. The freedom was amazing.
